Dorey, when you talk about these things, you speak with a stronger sense of authority and clarity than most people who dare to speak about Epstein here on youtube. I don't really trust anyone whose posts don't engage this nightmare. Plenty of people are fighting tooth and nail to keep their heads in the sand about this situation. I respect you for the courage you show to take this on.

This is exactly the way I was groomed by my adoptive father. The waffling between protector and predator is so confusing. It makes you distrust your instincts as a young person because no one wants to accuse someone who provides for you. It’s so difficult to untangle the manipulation. I tell my kids now that if their tummy feels weird that’s enough evidence to get away.

I’m really stunned by how jaded many of these comments are. If you’ve never experienced assault, shame after having been groomed or cajoled into doing something you didn’t feel strong enough to safely escape from, you can’t possibly sit in judgement of the way someone shares their story. Just because she might come across as more together, because she’s articulate and poised, or has a very engaging personality doesn’t mean she’s manipulating, lying or any less traumatized by her experiences. What I find especially authentic about Lisa is that she’s unwilling to dumb down the complexity of her story so that we can neatly drop her into a 2-dimensional understanding of what we need a victim to be. I see an incredibly poised and strong woman who, despite being worldly, still landed in the clutches of a predator. One doesn’t need to be meek, weak or damaged goods to become prey .

Looking back, I am so incredibly thankful the Ford Agency said I wasn't tall enough to be a model in the late 80's. I was heartbroken at the time. 🤯

I was abused as a child and my mother also abandoned me and took my abusers side. Because of that, I have dedicated my entire life to my daughter. She tells me every day that I’m the best mommy ever and I’m so so so proud of that. Being a mom feels like it’s healing the broken parts of me, like I get to do things for her the way I wish they had been done for me.
