artemis i: test drive artemis ii: looking for a parking spot artemis iii: practicing parking artemis iv: actually parking
The Artemis II astronauts travelled from Florida to California in less than ten days. In the early 1800s, such a trip would have taken about four months. This technological progress is stunning!!
I was entering my local bar as the rocket lifted off. I asked who are we bombing this time. And one regular laughed, said "for once the rockets on TV is for peace"
"I'll see it when I believe it" Where did I see that easter egg several hours ago?
Best marketing positioning for Apple - Artemis II mission "Shot on iPhone" 😂😂
I really appreciate this Cold Fusion episode that sewed up the Artemis project very neatly from its messy, disparate parts to a fairly coherent future.
Im loving that Coldfusion is pumping out videos more often now ❤
The fact they filmed the reentry with vintage camera from the Apollo program was a really nice touch.
Love your channel. One thing about the effects of time dilation; the net effect is actually that the Artemis crew aged ~507 microseconds more. This is due to the binary dilation factors, where the speed of Artemis slowed their clocks by about ~13 microseconds, but the effect of living deep within Earth's gravitational well slowed clocks on Earth relative to Artemis by ~520 microseconds (NASA estimate). Small detail, but worth pointing out the binary causes of time dilation. In this case, gravity is the bigger contributor to the effect.
