In Codex, if you go into environment settings, there's an option to setup 'advanced' configuration where you can set your .env files, setup scripts to install packages etc... It's purposefully air-gapped for security reasons by default but apparently that will be changing in the near future.

Simultaneously = Multiple operations happening at the same time (in parallel) Asynchronously = Tasks that are initiated and allowed to proceed independently, with results handled later (via callbacks, promises, or async/await). Async tasks can and often do occur simultaneously, but they are not necessarily so.

I was happy with my Windsurf and its MCP while finishing a project i got stuck in a loop with my code saw your video tried Codex immediately, man it hallucinates 😂😭 and totally F’d the code but ofc I had a backup , the idea is amazing but is it ready tho ? This was my first try lets see
