The ColorOS shift did it for me. No more OnePlus no matter how good of a hardware they provide. OxygenOS was the differentiating factor for OnePlus and Oppo.
Marques always gets the tiny details spot on. The runtime of this video is 11:00!
the OnePlus 7 Pro was almost perfect...the popup selfie camera was sick
The stuff you pointed out about the UI are some things that you notice if you really use the phone. I know cuz color os, realme UI or oxygen OS whatever you want to call it is all I have used since last 8 years. That's so nice to see that a reviewer actually using a phone from the perspective of an actual user and not just for the sake of reviewing it. Keep it up Marques.
0:23 Agreed, the Oneplus 7 Pro is indeed their high mark. Mine is on the latest Android 13 and will be going strong years from now thanks to Lineage OS.
I am appreciating the intro animation more and more especially after I saw how it came to be in the studio channel.
The 7 Pro is amazing, I bought mine shortly after launch, in April 2019 I think, and it's still going strong. My brother has the same and we just replaced his battery because he also wants to keep it around for as long as possible.
Watching this video reminded me again , at least there are few YouTubers who really care about small things which most of brands don’t consider in their OS. Man the way you explained that notification gesture was amazing. ❤
Unpopular opinion but wireless charging really isn't that big of a deal
Watching this in 2025 on my oneplus 7pro McLaren edition
