I have great concern for my children and grandchildren here in Carney's Canada. I shop the farmer's market, use cash, don't watch TV news and plan to resist as much as I can. In the meantime, I have gone back to reading books and sewing which brings a more joyful vibe to my life because that's what we're here for.

Thanks Ivor. I extricated myself a very long time ago and I've suffered much ridicule because of it over the years. My daughter still rolls her eyes at me sometimes. I'm glad younger, stronger, brighter people are taking up the cause and the fight continues until God sees fit to put a final end to it.

I am reminded of what someone I knew who who's father was U.S Air Force General told him he witnessed at a lunch room at the Pentagon days after Ronald Regan's election. He said that Regan walked in for lunch with Nelson Rockefeller, and as Regan stood distracted for a few moments speaking with members of the Joint Chiefs, Rockefeller became visibly annoyed and commanded his assistant: "You tell him to get over here NOW!", and when Rockefeller's assistant motioned Regan to their table Regan bolted away to join Rockefeller like he was on a leash. I was told that the story spread through the Pentagon so possibly someone else might have also heard the account. If true, perhaps something symbolic of presidential ownership.

Not sure the next generations will have the balls to fight back.

I've been doing it religiously for 2+ years at my local farmers market and I can see the real impact. The vendors and crowds and growing every month.
