They're right. We are entering a DEPRESSION
I’m going to order extra guac at chipotle today
From 2019 until today we are under a hyperinflation era, the CPI readings don’t include housing and food, people buckle up because the Great Depression is nothing compared to what’s coming I bought a townhouse in FL for $409K in 2020 and today I can sell it for $650K, this doesn’t mean I’m making money, this means the USD is depreciated Houses are not coming down as long as inflation, real inflation number is control
As someone who pays attention to the reported data... The FEDs are cooking the reported numbers. The jobs numbers for instance are revised down consistently 30-50% after initial published values. There is no excuse for that. Other numbers are revised to be significantly worse also. Labor costs are about to skyrocket in the manufacturing and services sector. Unions are pushing for 30-50% wage hikes. Teamsters, UAW etc. We are headed for a second massive peak in inflation over the next couple years. Remember the people telling you there will be no recession are the same ones who said inflation was transitory. I would bet money Goldman Sachs is putting out a bunch of propaganda so they have time to shift various positions. Then eventually they will tell the truth.
Bro I work retail, we are in a depression already don’t be fooled.
“Extra disposable income” and highest credit card debt ever ……..hmmm, makes sense ? 🤔
What is a recession? Answer….2 negative quarters of GDP means recession We enter a recession a year ago

When they say there's not gonna be a recession.... Get ready for the big one😂
I don’t understand why no one will admit it but we’ve been in a little recession for the last few months bc the fed literally changed the definition of a recession. So the headline should be that it’s a 15% chance that we’re not done with the recession
