I think the thing this episode forgets is that the government has a pre-existing evacuation system in place, that gets used the instant that a relevant danger is detected. It might seem unrealistic to assume that a large number of people could be moved in an instant... but one, it's an anime... and two, there are scenes where an entire city is evacuated in minutes after a threat is detected.
Matpat would have a stroke seeing how much Saitama is still holding back if he reads the manga 💀
You can tell MatPat was contractually obligated to say "one punch man, the strongest" every single time he refers to the game 😂
I always thought it was weird how they never took him seriously, considering that if he turned to villainy, he would be their highest tier of threat.
Matpat forgot a key detail about the asteroid. The news report said there were zero casualties
Saitama being so powerful that he ends all life on Earth as a side effect is pretty on brand for the character tbh
Matt, I think you forgot one thing here. By the time Beefcake got far enough into the city that Saitama finally did his punch, pretty much the whole area was emptied of people. Unless Beefcake fell on top of the evac center they all went to, he basically fell on a bunch of buildings with no one inside them (Except for any idiots who stayed inside)
If this man reads the manga or webcomic, Matpat is going to make a 5 hour video on it.
Fun fact: when Saitama was thrown to the moon, the rock he tossed was to see how much force he would need to jump back to earth.
Matt completely overhauling every intro to match the subject always gives me life
