Description

Shop vacuums were tested for their suction power, air volume, and maximum capacity. Additional testing measured the time required to vacuum a full bucket of sand and five gallons of water. Air quality during operation was also assessed, along with a subjective rating for effectiveness when removing sand from carpet. Brands Tested: Shop-Vac, DeWalt, BAUER, Vacmaster, Stanley, Channellock, RIDGID, and CRAFTSMAN. I purchased all the Shop Vacuums to ensure an unbiased review. I would buy the DeWalt because it is so much quieter. At my age, I have lost so much hearing I need to preserve all I can. I suggest you pay attention to your hearing when young.

Thank you for focusing on actually useful tools, rather than overhyped gadgets like so many other review channels do. It's much appreciated.

Once again Project Farm researches a useful tool as lots of folks are dealing with floods this summer. He also provides all the facts and no promotions which makes him number one for honest and thorough reviews in my book!

It may be of interest to the viewers to know that HEPA filters from a Hoover Twin-Chamber upright vac will fit many of the 2.5" exhaust ports, thus providing a supplemental improvement over the standard filter if needed.

I'm 74 years old. When much younger, Consumer Reports was the "go to" for evaluations. I was a subscriber. Over the first few years, I discovered they made testing mistakes (such as evaluating Amway products) and I even bought my first new car based on their evaluation....an AMC Gremlin. It was an absolute piece of junk. Naturally, after learning the hard way, I never looked at any more CR evaluations/recommendations. Project Farm has been a God send and I have made good decisions over the years to buy and to avoid products. Many thanks!!!!!!

The last shop vac test included the "Battle of the Vacs" where the hoses were joined together to see which one could out-suck the other. That was a very FUN test.

Much respect to project farm. These videos are so informative and useful. I won't buy any major tool or appliance anymore, without checking this channel first.
