Wait You’re telling me the car loaded with 5-6 passengers in a high altitude desert didn’t get the listed 34-35 mpg. Shocking.
I lost it at "A small hybrid like the Santa Fe" BRO It's not a small hybrid lmao
2:48 “the heated seats and heated steering wheel both get really hot, really fast” Oh no, my lobster is too buttery.
Nobody ever mentions my favorite feature. Hyundai's "search settings" feature. You just had your oil changed? Do a voice command "search settings for oil" or "search settings for oil change". Tap on the oil change setting to reset it, and you're done. Don't dig in those menus. You want to change the color of the highlights in your calligraphy? "Search settings for color" and change the color. You really don't even have to stop the car, although you should do these things while you're parked...
The Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid impressed over its yearlong stay with us, as our staff enjoyed just how easy it was to live with in the day-to-day or even on a long road trip. But its Land Rover-esque styling was a little divisive, inspiring both love and hate from our team. What do you think about the Santa Fe's new look? Is it a good direction for Hyundai, or do they need a new schtick? Let us know in the comments below!
My Santa Fe is just a year old so your review was very interesting. I got just over 31 mpg for this first year and on individual trips I often get 34 mpg. It is a big vehicle to manage in small spaces but I love it for longer road trips. The cargo space is fabulous and the car feels safe when I'm driving my grandchildren.
Bought a Santa Fe a few months ago, replacing our Escalade that ended its lease. At zero percent APR, we are loving our calligraphy.
2025 Santa Fe Hybrid SEL AWD owner here - our average mpg over 15,000 miles is 31 even with our 80mph speed limits across Utah interstates. We keep it in eco mode. We LOVE this vehicle for our family. No issues yet. Also great video!
I recently purchased a 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. Mine is Front wheel drive and I am averaging anywhere from 32-38mpg mixed use. I only have 750mi on it and expect the mpg to increase as it gets broken in. I absolutely love the vehicle. Agree with your review, great value for the money.
Thanks for the revue. I have a 2025 Sante Fe . The camera on the steering column was a major disappointment to me because it constantly would not recognize my face, but I discovered it was my sunglasses and once I changed to a non polarized I didn’t have any more issues.
