This is under a makeshift grave which kinda reminded me of the ending of Logan. Its often a staple of westerns where the hero who sacrificed themselves is given a send off before things ramp up towards the end. In Hughies pocket he finds a letter from frenchy which calls him Petit Hughie. This was was a nickname he had for the character and it turns out this is his last will and testament. He smuggled it into the freedom camps and we learned in episode 1 that he was someone who could get people things. I also got a lot of flashes of the camp in V For Vendetta where Evie read a note passed through the prisons from a woman named Valerie to V and then lastly to Evie.
