not Greg immediately getting emotional at Lestat and Louis's argument... love you man
The panic attack felt so real, my throat was hurting 😭
the fangirls in the car were vampires. they have fangs. the human world thinks hes dead but the vampires all know hes alive and hes going to be performing soon
Lestat absolutely falling apart/unable to speak when Louis calls it sickness because he cannot face the truth of his abuse and just collapsing in sobs 😭cried my eyes out. My fave episode of the season and LOVED this reaction from you two as always 💜
sam and jacob’s acting during lestat’s panic attack scene was on another level. someone give them ✨ all the awards ✨
Lestat throwing up and having a panic attack because the abuse his mother had been doing to him for centuries was just broadcasted to the world and Louis initially victim blaming him absolutly broke me. He was so scared Louis would leave him over it and not try to understand him.💔 By the way if you remember in episode 3 Dr. Fareed said vampire's who have been around for a while could survive without a head for up to two hours and that someone of Lestat's strength could possibly last longer than that. It has actually been many hints this season that he would lose his head so I think that Louis also losing his is what shocked me the most. But they will definitely be fine because we can't have the show without the two main protagonist. Anyways, I personally think Daniel and Armand releasing the tape was worse than the beheading because they will heal from that easily but the tape will cause mental problems for Lestat and was very violating. He has been violated basically his whole life and now he has to face another violation and this time the world knows about it. He even hinted at this being a thing in episode one during his voiceover when he said that when his name is now brought up people's first thought is his relationship with his mother.
The Claudia scene just gives me chills , and the ending was like what the hell just happened
Lestat actually wasn't there for the seance in the Merrick book. I believe he only showed up at the end when Louis tried to commit after. But yes, even in the book Claudia said these things to Louis and I actually think the show tamed it a little bit down. The book is pretty much about the truth on how Claudia felt back then and how much she really did hate Louis, and also about how she manipulated Louis into killing Lestat. In the book, and I guess now in the show, she didn't care which one she killed but only chose Lesat because she knew it would be easier to control Louis. She also did favor Lestat more in the books but while she hated them both, she still had a lot of love for them. Which is what makes their family so tragic because her hate was/is valid but not even she can deny the love she has for them.
We've always seen Claudia through Louis eyes...he idealized her from love, guilt, and grief. He presented her in a softer, almost childlike manner ...even after she was well adult.
