Anyone else really relieved this wasn't actually Tony Hawk?
Tony Hawk did a 900 on a skateboard. Tony Hawks did a 180… on his own children.
Boomer here. I made my will 30 years ago. My children get everything. I also help them now if needed. My goal throughout my life was to take care of my children. I love them.
I've noticed that one of my boomer parents flat out refuses to give me life advice and teach me lessons based on the mistakes that they made in their own life. I've brought it up with them and they say things like "well I had to go through it so, so should you", like they find it acceptable to watch me struggle where they could have helped. It truly confuses me. With my own child I'm going to be so open about my mistakes, so he doesn't have to make the same ones.
Leaving your money to charity instead of your children isn’t generosity, it’s narcissism dressed up as virtue. If you really cared about the cause, you would’ve donated while alive. But no—you wait until you're dead, when it costs you nothing, and your kids are the only ones who pay the price. And guess what? They could’ve given to charity too—after you gave them the choice.
I was gonna say the real Tony hawk wouldn’t do this
UK here, absolutely no one has heard of this guy. Genuinely
Love it instead of his kids, he'll give it to a charity to spend on their executives salaries
Classic liberal thought pattern
Funny how these same people completely forget about the house and money they inherited from their own parents.
