Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot will be departing office after Chicagoans roundly voted against her in the recent runoff election. After finishing third in the runoff Lightfoot, who was swept into the mayor’s office four years ago in a landslide victory, has become the first Chicago mayor in 40 years to lose a reelection bid.
