As a son of a chain gang leader who ran the chains for 17+ years I’m completely pissed I will have to now pay for my tickets.

I kinda like the chain gang actually. The problem isn’t the chains, it’s the spot of the ball. The chains are an accurate way of measuring, but it’s ridiculous to measure something that precisely when the ball spot is always off by a yard.
