Professor Xueqin Jiang joins the show to argue that the current US-Iran ceasefire is pure theater, allowing the US to amass 60,000 troops in the area for a massive three-pronged attack on Iran involving a naval blockade, arming ethnic insurgents, and bombing civilian infrastructure like power and water plants to force surrender. He asserts that Trump is not in control but rather an agent of the military-industrial complex executing a long-term Pentagon strategy to create a "Fortress America" technate that cannibalizes allies while containing China and Russia. Jiang predicts that while Trump may appear victorious in the short term (2-3 years) with a soaring dollar and energy deals, the empire will ultimately collapse due to corruption, political polarization, and rising nationalism, potentially leading to civil war.
