I have dreaded this moment for my entire adult life. America cannot maintain its sole superpower position and we are such children that we are destructively lashing out in horrifying ways. The most selfish and delusional nation on earth having the most powerful military on earth is a recipe for violence and mass death. Hopefully, our decline will be swift. America's downfall is necessary for the good of the world.

My parents are cheering for the idea we might nuke Iran, so are all of their friends, so are half of the people I talk to in general. I live in the south so I’m sure that makes a difference but I just have no idea how to have hope anymore.
