I am a French Canadian. Not a fan of the monarchy. However, I would like to thank King Charles for coming to Canada to make this very important speech. We are going through scary and uncertain times and it was nice to be reminded that they are still adults in the room. We may have lost a friend in the US but we have other very good allies too. TY

I am a British Canadian, born in London, then Canadian citizenship. This was just perfect, just perfect!!! King Charles didn't say Trump name, but those who watched the Throne Speech knew exactly who King Charles was talking about. PM and King Charles did an amazing job❤

As a US citizen living in England, I'm profoundly grateful to hear the king's speech, full of wisdom, reverence for all people, and respect for the law. His affection for the Canadians, who trained thousands of RAF pilots in WWII and fought alongside the British and Americans, shone through. It's inspiring to hear the king reminding us that decency and fair play are ideals worth upholding and that they still exist. Thank you, King Charles, for undertaking the trip even though you are battling cancer, and for writing and delivering so beautifully an historic speech that I hope will give Canadians a boost, while at the same time send a message about what government should be across the border to a would-be tyrant king and his enablers. And thank you, Ben Meiselas, for showing more of this speech than mainstream news, and for taking up the Canadians' fight against the Trump regime.
