The impunity with which the corruption is happening is astonishing

I work in clothing manufacturing & tariffs have caused insanity in my industry with lay offs the past few months & buyers not buying as much. Listened to this live at work today & my stomach turned inside out shocked at the levels of corruption & the thought that some nepo baby billionaires found some sick scheme to make even more money off of this. Psychotic.

There's a reason other presidents haven't gone with the blanket tariff idea. It's really dumb.

it's also a way to do massive insider trading. Trump was never very successful in real business, so a lot of his wealth and therefore self worth is tied to being openly corrupt.

The US Secretary of commerce (whatever his title is) asks: "If tariffs hurt the American consumers, why do you think the OTHER countries are complaining?". Really? You don't know the answer? And you're supposed to be the expert in business? What a joke!
