Pricing on the Dark Horse should come down to be about the same as the Mach E. $75k for a Mustang is wild. That's a Corvette price.
I hate to say it, but Reece (sp?) isn't a quick driver. He is notably slower than the other drivers, and this is constant across their videos. I like his commentary, and he seems like a good guy, but when it comes to consistency and testing, you can't have one driver 0.5-1sec faster than the other. Whichever car gets him twice in the switch-up has a significant disadvantage toward getting best out of three races.
Dark Horse vs base GT 5.0 auto. Not sure Ford will allow you too but it needs done.
Mach-E: Wins quarter mile by half a second and 0-60 by almost a full second Edmunds: “It’s not really sporty enough.” // “I wish Ford had gone a little more hardcore”
The Dark Horse has MONSTER brakes! It can brake so much later and still be more under control
How about taking the talent out of the equation and looking at the difference between the 2 times of each driver? A faster driver is faster in both cars. I’d love to see that data.
Which one of these ponies would you pick to drive every day? Let us know in the comments!
The sound that Dark Horse makes is butter. WOW!
I have a mach e gt. In all of these videos they are not using the dynamic braking that is critical to this car. They are taking the turns super slow, this car can handle a drift if it wants.
Great video guys! The results are as expected. The Mach-E has no limiter in the 1/4 on the initial hit, however if you try and hot lap it again with a full 1/4 mile pull, it will reduce power on the 2nd run. I have found this in my testing as well. However, the initial run, it will go 11.8/113 in the 1/4 at anything above 74% SOC.
