why mobile apps are hard: * starts to talk about ai *
Itβs already a challenge to find a decent app. Not sure if exponential growth is a good thing
Been using expo and nativewind to build apps with claude, and claude is like a genius in generating the code
10:17 The fact that you need to own a mac to do anything with apple, isnt hilarious but sad and a huge roadblock for student devs like me :/
Sounds like Jobs was talking about PWAs π
ive been seeing a ton of junk apps lately, makes sense now, it seems like developing has become like prime dropshipping era
I would say most iOS apps donβt need a server connection and can get by with SwiftData and iCloud Sync/Backup. Especially creative apps unless youβre trying the Figma approach
I have no idea what you talk about 99% of the time. Not a coder. Just a building engineer. But I have never heard of excalidraw when I saw you use it....I'm sold lmfao.
This looks incredibly frustrating and error prone to do, even compared to just writing swift in xcode
Loving t3 chat btw, 1000% worth it considering how affordable it is and fast it works, rather than paying monthly for just gpt 4o or the other models separately.
