Tonight: Relentless flooding has submerged neighborhoods across Mississippi and left millions across the South dealing with dangerous conditions. In one remarkable sight, an alligator was seen navigating the rising waters in a New Orleans suburb. Plus, At least 13 reported tornadoes overnight in five states created multiple paths of destruction. And the sound of gunshots rang out in Times Square sending people running in one of the busiest parts of the city. It comes just hours after the NYPD launched its biggest event deployment ever to secure the Knicks victory parade in lower Manhattan, which went off largely without incident. And retired Army Major Nick Dockery received a Medal of Honor for his courageous actions while on a mission at a remote combat outpost in Afghanistan.
