Description

Happiness is objective, not purely subjective, and different things make men and women happy. This is why men and women are more inclined to do different kinds of jobs. Yes, men sitting on the couch eating potato chips and women girl bossing in the corporate world will make them happy in the short term, but people should go for jobs that will make them happy in the long term. Don't push men or women in any direction for work. Let them choose and you'll see 90% male engineers and 90% female nurses. Why is that a problem?

My ultra liberal niece thinks complimenting a woman without her explicit consent is sexual harassment. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

The woman talking about shoring up the household duties has a valid point, sort of. I am a man that was married to a woman that was a stay at home wife and mother. I was working a job where I was working 10-12 hours per day with an hour drive each way to work and back. It got to the point where I was doing 100% of the monetary support for the family, 100% of the yard work, 100% of the grocery shopping, 75% of the cooking, more than 50% of the cleaning, and when I walked into the house after work, I was doing 100% of the child care. It does wear a person down. But that didn't make me unhappy with my job, it made me unhappy with my spouse. So to claim that is what is making women say they are unhappy with their work is somewhat deceptive.

The Me Too movement had lots of people in management, not wanting to work alone with a woman.

What Michael should have pushed back on is if men are not inclined to work in nursing or teaching, why are women not encouraged or interested in working, trash removal, oil rigs, welding, sewage repair, or any other extreme physical / dirty job.
