‘No Such Thing As Toxic Masculinity’ Scott Galloway x Kevin O’Leary On Male Loneliness & Wealth
Galloway and O’Leary Debate Societal Decay, Male Loneliness, and AI's Economic Future
Understand how cultural backlash, technological disruption from AI, and systemic wealth transfer are creating a crisis of purpose for young men. Learn actionable strategies for modern chivalry, economic responsibility, and rebuilding core social connections lost in the digital age.
Short Summary
- Economic viability remains the primary driver for successful pairings, with divorce risks doubling when women earn significantly more.
- Deep-pocketed technology firms actively profit by isolating young men through engagement mechanisms like gaming and synthetic media.
- Kindness, consistency, and protection must replace abstract concepts as masculinity’s essential framework for young men.
- AI adoption threatens information-intensive jobs, potentially accelerating socio-economic pressure on the younger generation.
Professors Scott Galloway and Kevin O’Leary join Piers Morgan to diagnose severe fractures in Western society, focusing heavily on the struggles of young men. They argue that cultural critiques have devolved into attacking masculinity itself, while technological advancements reward isolation over real-world engagement. The discussion moves from cultural pathology to hard economics, analyzing how wealth transfer and AI adoption compound the difficulty young men face in achieving traditional markers of success and securing romantic partnership. This analysis provides essential context for addressing polarization and personal stagnation.

Why is Kevin O Leary part of this debate lol
The last thing I'm going to do as a man is try and start a relationship with someone from work. The last thing I need is to have a complaint lodged against me if the relationship doesn't go well. I can't tell you the number of colleagues I've had over the years who have had their careers/work situation significantly damaged by women who were upset when the relationship ended.
Scott's position: Young men struggling, women most affected.
You can be surrounded by people but still feel lonely. I've experienced this many times. You can be in a relationship and still feel lonely.
All I’m trying to do is survive but somehow I’m dangerous… got it
What does it mean to be a man?
Its always funny, when two smart guys are on your show, they never over talk each other
14:33 "He's basically taking everybody back 80 years." It feels more like an 80-year cycle that's happening. One reason for studying history is to understand better the cyclical nature of it, and find patterns to relate it to today and the near future.
I love how O’Leary says…..Oh they will have to get jobs someplace else! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Piers Morgan Uncensored MUCH BETTER when people aren't arguing and screaming over each other!
