I'm a 79 year Black female who grew up in the Jim Crow South. I'm a beneficiary of the Civil Rights legislation passed during the sixties. Adam, I'm so proud of you and all the other young people who are using your platforms to educate your audience on how close we are to losing our democratic form of government. It's going to take the young, the old, and people of all ethnic groups to save our democracy. That's how we did it during Jim Crow and during the Vietnam War era. Don't get discouraged or bothered by the actions and words of the ignorant racists, propagandists, and warmongers. Remember the words of the first Black U.S. Congressman from New York (Adam Clayton Powell Jr.), "Keep the faith, baby"

Kiwi Boomer here. 73 years old. Many of us were very left wing and still are. We protested the Viet Nam war, nuclear weapons, racism, apartheid, LGBTQ rights and women’s rights. And watched those things change for the better. It breaks my heart to see how the world has changed and moved away from those values. Proud of you, you remarkable man. Keep up the pressure.
