to quote Scarlet witch "No More Mutants" literally describes Disney to X-Men
πΏ What would your mutant power be?
Disney has the same energy as the angry spoiled little sibling who canβt share, and would rather break something than give it to someone else
Magnetoβs backstory was that he was a Jewish boy who was sent to a death camp during the Holocaust, where his entire family was killed. This formed the background for what he believes and why he acts the way he does.
I love how this weeks video isn't a theory, it's sort of a mini video essay on what happened to the x-men as of late
6:28 The fact that the x men and fantastic 4 were huge parts of Lego marvel superheroes 1 but were no where in the sequel is just infuriating
The X-Men were so big at their peak, they may as well have been their own brand seperate from Marvel.
"Disney is the biggest villain of X-Men" Meanwhile the Justice League: first time??
It's funny that Disney tried to completely distance themselves from X-men because it was oned by a rival studio, but they didn't really do that with Spider-Man (and Hulk I guess). I guess Spider-Man is too big of a cash cow to mess with.
Disney trying to completely get rid of the X-Men is, ironically enough, lore accurate to how the mutants are treated in-universe.
