Description

Sixteen Democratic state attorneys general urged three major donor-advised funds to reconsider their decision to stop or restrict payments to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), arguing that doing so emboldens the Justice Department’s vendetta against Donald Trump’s political enemies. “This decision raises serious concerns that you are allowing the DOJ’s selective political targeting of a charity to impact your donor-advised giving decisions,” they wrote in a letter. California Attorney General Rob Bonta explains why he signed the letter. Adam Klasfeld of All Rise News hosts. Blanche is a disgrace and makes Bondi look like a Girl Scout! He is Trump’s personal attorney, and he has never stopped regardless of whether he has a conflict of interest. And he lied under oath.

I wonder if SPLC will file a claim from the 1.776 billion dollar weaponization of law fund...

Why would any organization think of the DOJ as reliable? They should know better.

While trump openly hates certain people and groups of people, I believe he secretly hates virtually everyone.

Thank you so much for standing up for the SPLC. It is clear why this white supremacist DOJ and administration is trying to undermine the SPLC donor structure.

Ridiculous that donors are removing funding. It’s so clear what’s happening if you pay attention. Blanche is a disgrace 🤮

People need to understand the truth about what happened in Alabama. The courts found that the maps diluted Black voting power and violated Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. That matters because many people said the Voting Rights Act was gutted and weakened over the years. But Alabama showed that the fight is not over. This is bigger than one state. This is about whether communities can have fair representation and whether hidden racial dilution can still be challenged in court. You can call it “partisan,” you can call it “politics,” but when minority voting strength is weakened again and again, people are going to question the motive behind these maps. The Alabama ruling proved that Section 2 still has power when the evidence is strong enough. That means other states can also be challenged if maps are drawn in a way that unfairly weakens the voice of minority voters. The vote is the people’s voice. Fair representation should not depend on what party is in power.
