What's happened to Canada can only be described as "controlled demolition". No way you just coincidentally make the worst possible decisions for your country at every given opportunity for 10 years straight
A chronic shortage of labor in Canada, while people can’t get a job? Someone is lying.
I have literally never heard anyone in Canada talk about a labour shortage, except the government.

One of the most significant challenges here in Canada, especially in cities like Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal, is the lack of affordable housing. High demand, limited supply, Sincerely I’m really concerned about how this current economic crisis and rising inflation have really taken a toll on my portfolio. It's becoming quite worrisome, especially at my age.
Ahh “labour shortage”: the shortage of skilled workers who are willing to work for slave wages and make sure that there is enough labour supply to keep wages from growing. Meanwhile government can implement policies to keep property prices increasing.
If there's a 'labor shortage', wages should be going up with prices.
Living in Canada, it’s cold, crazy expensive and full of identity politics it’s gotten so dystopian.
It’s somewhat comforting to read the comments of other Canadians here. Makes me feel like less of a failure, and that at least I’m not alone in experiencing the crushing hopelessness.
