Remember George Carlins words, "Rights aren't rights if someone can take them away. They're privileges. That's all we've ever had in this country is a bill of temporary privileges."
Ah yes it’s the court that’s overstepping, definitely not those ignoring every “check and balance” we had in place.
Due Process is literally the foundation of law and order. Without it, you have no law and the only order is the word of the Dictator.
Literacy is dead. The Supreme Court is SUPPOSED to be able to overrule the executive branch—not the other way around.
Phil spitting facts "If you don't stand up for the rights of those that you aren't aligned with or actively disagree with, you don't actually stand for anything except power and control." 🔥
Something I am teaching my kids while we watch the US fall apart is “something doesn’t have to directly effect you, for you to care” You can just care about other people and their rights without it happening to you.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. —Martin Niemöller this poem/quote has been on my mind more and more

The idea that "due process is to inconvenient" is absolutely insane. Of course it's inconvenient, THAT'S THE ENTIRE POINT. It forces the government to be held accountable for what it does, and yes, MAGA loonies, that is even if they are claiming to be removing terrorists. Good intentions do not cover bad actions.
I used to watch this show every day. This is the first show I’ve been able to watch since November. Thank you, Phil, for still broadcasting the news
