Imagine taking this little piece of hardware back in time and showing all those console gamers what they will be able to do in the future on ONE device
I have a Raspberry Pi running RetroPie connected to my TV. I play old console games with my 13-year old daughter. I bought two USB official Sega Genesis controllers and we play Mortal Kombat II together. A 30+ year old game I played with I was young. Now she beats me almost every time and she says it's her favourite game. It's awesome.

They explain how this compact device can emulate games from nearly every retro console, featuring modern additions like achievements, save states, and online multiplayer. Alex demonstrates the setup step-by-step, from preparing the microSD card to configuring controllers and personalizing game libraries. The video also highlights advanced features such as cheats and retro achievements, culminating in a demonstration of online play between two Raspberry Pi devices, showcasing the impressive capabilities of RetroPie. I like that RetroAchievements shows indicators in the bottom right corner of Achievements that you can get in the level. For instance in Zelda LttP, when you are fighting Moldorm in the Tower of Hera, it shows 2 possible achievements, no damage and kill Moldorm in under 20 seconds. If you don't defeat Moldorm quickly or get hit, the indicators vanish, letting you know that you can't get them.
Absolutely was not kidding about the length of time it takes for the RetroPie install, good lord.
A few years back, I built a full size arcade cabinet running retropie on a RP4. Still works fantastic! Great video guys!!!
"pretend like your life has meaning" was wild.
Dude. I work hard labor and I love watching your videos. When I was younger I used to game constantly. They had me chippin bro no lie. Here I get to live out the life I left. The tech world. Keep it up. God bless.
Degauss the CRT. The discoloration is crazyyyyy
This video made it easy to set up my game system. My dad wanted a way to play his childhood games and I put this together with things I had lying around. I was completely unable to set up ssh and had to resort to loading it via USB drive.
