As a lifelong oregonian, I can ASSURE YOU we want troops here ASAP!!!! TINA KOTEK is nuts!!

I live in Portland. I have owned my home here for over 20 years. I have awakened to homeless, drugged out individuals sleeping on my porch. Had homeless pitch their tents on my front lawn and told by the city there is nothing I can do- the laws in the city ALLOW THIS! Watched naked, Fentanyl drugged individuals dancing down the sidewalk in front of children. Had items stolen from behind my locked gate- nothing is sacred. My car has been broken into and items stolen from it. I have been run off the road and harassed by other drivers and when I called 911, the Portland police will only come if there is a gun involved. The police here DO NOTHING! WHY THE EFF AM I PAYING SUCH HIGH TAXES?????!!!!! And I live in a nice neighborhood. Nothing here is safe. Yet anyone who voted blue wants to believe the lies that it is all ok.

The Portland Police have had "stand down" orders from the Mayor for over a year. It's not their fault. It's the mayor and government.

I am a resident of Oregon. Thank you for sending troops. Please send more, stay longer, and restore democracy to this state.

Pray for the Guard that’s going to Portland! I was on a business trip to DC and walked around the streets. I saw the Guard and knew they would be young but had know idea how young they looked. Lord watch over these young men and women!

These women that would roll the dice with the health of their babies just to give Trump a middle finger is just beyond my comprehension.

Well......I live 15 minutes from Portland and I'll tell you the truth......they need it.

I am a native Oregonian and 15 years ago worked downtown and walked to lunch without seeing homeless or violence. I never had fear walking at night to a restaurant with my friends. I moved away after I retired as the State taxes were too much. I now live across the river in WA State, not much better government but not as bad as Portland. The liberal leaders do not live in downtown or anywhere there is violence. One of the worst illegal gang members that was arrested by ICE in another state was living in Woodburn, an area maybe 10 miles from the Governor.'s mansion. The Governor lives behind walls with acerage and security to protect her. Of course she does not see what is happening. There are petitions being signed right now to recall her. Most of these people saying the President is making a mistake sending in NG live outside the city in the suburbs. The area where ICE is located has a huge apartment or condo complex where the people living there have had to put up with this and I can assure you they are paying top dollar. If you drive one block off the 205 freeway you are in crime areas. Graffiti and homeless camps and garbage all along the freeway.
