First Story, NTA: Being special needs doesn’t mean u are excluded from consequences. This person tried to STOMP ON A DOG. What was OP suppose to do? Let the guy possibly kill OP's dog?
First story. Woman here and I would've done the same or worse. Wanna stomp on me that's fine but you'll get some in return, leave my pets alone. One time someone tried to lay hands on my dog and I was prepared to go to jail. Person with a disability or not everyone knows better to not harm animals except like psychopaths.
Story 1: NTA, the guy sadly had it coming, disability or not.
Story 1: I dont want to sound overdramatic, but trying to kick someones dog justifies getting hit… Op is NTA and anyone siding against him is a moron…i DO kiinda feel bad for the older woman though
Story 3: Ok "jokester", let's see YOU almost lose someone in a situation that you're powerless to help, despite you wanting to help, and see how "funny" it is when someone "makes fun" of you for it. One does not simply "get over" a traumatic situation, and hell it's pretty insensitive to poke fun at it
Story 2: i’m honestly more surprised that anyone stayed in that room. Imagine going to a party and then being told you have to stay in the backup room but still expected to get free stuff. With the cherry on top being for entertainment, we get to watch the real party on the screen. And I would’ve told her mom that she’s not speaking to a child, and no one cares that she disappointed OP wasn’t a doormat.
As for the friends in the first story, violence is something that’s easier to judge it when you’ve never experienced a situation where it was crucial for protection.
Last story: I feel like if she’s resorting to this she’s probably told him about it a bunch of times…
Story 1: well I’m a woman and I will say that legally, morally, and even logically OP is not wrong. He had a natural reflex to someone charging after him. Which is probably why the mom was apologizing. Unless OP put that boy in the hospital I think his friends are overreacting.
People that hurt dogs should 100% get a physical reminder that normal people don’t do that
