For me, the top additions to Claude Code are context7 and consult7 - the latter is an MCP that delegates review of large code bases to a secondary LLM like Gemini 2.5 Pro
you don't have to manually type the url for the specific library you're interested in or search manually for the specific thing you're looking for inside the documentation, that's for LLM to do and that's the whole point of this MCP setup so that you don't have to feed the LLM exact link for it to look lol
Context is everything! Seeing these type of MCP's out there is exactly what we need. The challenge (and you briefly mention this) is that you cannot guaranty the quality and safety to an extent. For example, since these are community driven, you still have an inherit risk of malicious prompt attacks, or having documentation be manipulated to improperly setup a project. The idea of this is great, but it's only a matter of time before MCP becomes a part of every platform, library, and service provider.
I think it was clear from the cuts and seeing the overlapping command timers that this wasn't working as expected first try. I think in the future it would be helpful to include quick blips of what went wrong and why since others will likely run into it as well. I also think keep the overall duration of the video the same but cut out / speed up some of the filler to make room for the new content.
This combo is next level Claude Code with Context7 and MCP feels like real dev infrastructure I’ve been running Genum AI to handle prompt logic inside setups like this and it’s been smooth anyone else trying that stack
This the best mcp server ever 😊 really really useful 🎉❤
i have created a bunch of claude agents and one of them is a "Context7-expert", which the master-orchestrator-agent consults.
wanted to thank you for the recommendation. this is super sweet, i hope they can keep up the free service.
Thanks for sharing 🎉
thanks i will try it
