August is great, but his clickbait is annoying. This is definitely presented as a debate, not a reaction video.
They are so wrong about Mulan, she didn't join the army to prove a woman can do the same as a man. She joined so her injured father wouldn't be forced to go, and the whole point of "Be a Man." was about Mulan finding a feminine approach to doing a masculine task, everyone failed to get the arrow on the post but she approached the task without using just brute force. It's the same with the fight on the mountain, she knew that in a head to head battle the Huns would kill them, so she used to avalanche. And in the end she doesn't just 'turn back into the princess in love with the prince.' she fights Shan Yu at the palace and saves the emperor.
Lmao this guy’s argument is literally “Women be shopping.”
The joke with Mulan and the song be a man is that yeah, she learns all the skills the other men do, but she also manages to get the arrow at the top of the pole that no one else can climb up by subverting the traditional brute-force masculine way. This plays out well at the end of the movie too when, after being discovered to be a woman, Mulan reconciles with the other troops and they subvert their masculine mindsets to dress as concubines and use the same climbing technique that Mulan used to get the arrow. Along with the stuff at the beginning of the movie about the mindset of the matchmaker and parents, this movie isn't about smashing or subverting any single gender but more about existing between them in order to work together and solve problems without the biases that gender can impart on our minds.
Man, seeing Destiny have to look through so many sources to find the primary source of the 51% statistic was giving me flashbacks to my supervisor hammering it into my head to make the effort to always cite the primary source of some bit of information/fact/statistic.
Now Rollo will make 5 hour livestream in the response to this video 🤣

"1.3 million women earn more than $100,000 in annual salary" the only one they didn't put a percentage on because it would be less than 1%.
I’m not American and I hear people say boys will be boys all of the time. If it isn’t phrased like that people will say things like “they’re boys”, “that’s what boys do”, “he’s a boy” etc. I can’t believe Aba has never heard that expression.
The redpill guy is probably a great bastion of comfort for 50 year old guys whose kids haven't talked to them in years lol
