Everything School Never Taught You About Money (25-Minute Wake-Up Call)
Five Core Money Lessons Missing from Traditional Education
Learn the five essential financial concepts that the majority overlooks, shifting your focus from earning wages to building true wealth through ownership and strategy.
Short Summary
- Understand that fiat currency loses value over time, so hoarding paper cash keeps you poor.
- Wealthy individuals pursue equity ownership rather than climbing the traditional corporate salary ladder.
- Avoid debt on depreciating liabilities, such as luxury goods or cars, while recognizing strategic debt can fund income-generating assets.
- Embrace making mistakes; investment failures are necessary "tuition" for eventual success.
- Focus on consistent cash flow from assets, rather than speculating on future selling prices.
This discussion outlines five crucial money concepts Jaspreet Singh believes everyone should learn between ages 10 and 20. The advice centers on redefining money, chasing ownership (equity), managing debt wisely, and developing the necessary risk tolerance to grow financially.

My people perish for lack of knowledge.
The property story at the end is why i feel like as a society, we are hesitant to help people because they always take advantage of the kindness people like Jaspreet and make them not want to do the kind thing again. It ruins the chances for people like me and my wife who struggle, but we end up making things work. We do ask to borrow money from family, but they hold it over our heads during the time it takes us to pay them back and afterwards for whenever they want something out of us. We have always paid them back by the way.
