Professor Diesen is an excellent interviewer. He's obviously insanely knowledgeable and he uses that knowledge to ask only the most pertinent questions which brings out the best from his wonderful guests. Thank you for your service to humanity professor.
World war is not a historical pattern we can afford to repeat or likely survive.
Max, Russia did NOT start this war. The West did, when after E.Germany's incorporation into NATO, in 1999 NATO expanded EAST (for no valid reason) by incorporating Poland, Czechia and Hungary. That was the first shot across the bow, indicating long-term designs and aggression against Russia. NATO's move East continued. Followed by the Western (US) 2014 Coupd'Etat in Ukraine at a cost of $5 billion - per Victoria Nuland. There was no shooting war in 1999, but the Russians got the message, that they are on the menu, the main course to be consumed, of a future Western/US feast and gluttony...
Who is pointing a gun to the heads of NATO leaders to continue the Ukraine War? If Europe does not like the U.S. placing the burden on them to wage war against Russia then Europe should stop its involvement and pursue foreign policy leading with diplomacy. There is no rational reason to pursue war against Russia.
Not decline- DESTRUCTION!
Thank you Prof Diesen for this excellent and enriching conversation, I empathize with your sentiment here and, earlier as well when you'd spoken with Prof Mearsheimer around the extremely somber themes of very obvious buildups to moments of greater crisis, but I hope events within this year pull us all back to someplace where we all can relax a little instead of remaining in a medium panic expecting war escalations and build on from there. I also hope that you keep well, and wish you the very best, it is very easy to become personally overextended and exhausted looking at times like these from an intellectual lens, just seeing back to back blunders.
Fascinating conversation gentlemen thanks for your efforts and insight much appreciated
Thank you for the great analysis Mr.Otte and Mr.Glen
Many thanks Profesor Glenn for having Mr Otte on your chanel to speak about Germany económic and polític and social moment and possible dark future.
An OUTSTANDING discussion! One of the best I've seen this year. Thank you Max Otte and Prof. Diesen for your keen insights and candid assessments, with which surely many agree.
