editing out paku vs katara is a war crime
Hey guys, so it turns out the section that was cut was done by Paramount+. Kristen and our editor who handled this didn’t know that scene was missing. Normally we supervise all edits that go out. But leading into this weekend, we were overwhelmed and feeling pretty exhausted. So we had two choices, either check this when we have energy but skip Avatar coming out this weekend or trust the initial pass editors edit. Sorry. EDIT: Kristen has gone back and re-watched the episode on Netflix where that portion of the episode was kept faithful to the original edit of the show. https://youtu.be/FmaZTboT3og For those who wish to see an example of the Paramount+ edit, this illustrates what I’m talking about. Paramount+ completely cut it out https://youtu.be/GohuB7SbZMk
Didn't realize Paramount was editing the show until I saw the comments, and was confused about the end, thinking I missed something. On top of everything else they've been doing, Paramount needs to be stopped. Censoring Avatar should be considered a criminal offense.
Roku- I have mastered the elements a thousand times in a thousand lifetimes. Now I must do it once again. Me- I have watched reactions to this show a thousand times on a thousand channels. Now I must do it once again.
Not only were Katara and Pakuu's encounter edited out, but looks like Zuko and Iroh moments after the pirates also weren't there. What the heck are Paramount thinking, it makes no sense to cut out such key charter building moments. On a side note I am enjoying the reactions here ^_^
Since Paramount apparently removed scenes from this episode I hope you will just watch it on a different platform moving forward in case that happens again
Her commenting on how short it is.. only to find out she literally watched and episode cut in half. Paramount is so stupid for this.
A lot of people forget that Sokka is technically the prince of the southern water tribe because his dad is the chief of the southern water tribe
So dose this mean we getting a second bonus video without skipping important lore? lol
Jeong Jeong's character speaks of someone who learned these lessons the hard way
