I think folks who don't get the ad break quips should become the butt of the ad break jokes. Don't get rid of them, just change the target from "We have people to pay" to "A quick ad break to annoy people who don't understand economics."

Hi Theo, I fully support the sponsor spots, especially since they are clearly marked. I do not even mind a segue into an ad. However the segue is always the same joke about needing money. I would love to see you come up with some actually funny and creative segues instead!
