Its not only acting against its own interests but against the will of the people, I am from the UK and I can bet the French, German, Spanish people do not want a war with Russia, we have very small men in government trying to be noticed by seeing who can piss the farthest

What Col. Jacques Baud says here is absolutely right. Politics in Europe attracts people who haven't succeeded in the private sector, or even more so, who have never worked in the private sector. In other words, our politicians here in Europe are essentially failures catapulted into politics where their failures aren't visible, or at least aren't held against them as they are in the private sector. Von der Leyen is the best example, but there are hundreds, perhaps thousands more. In my opinion, Bearbock is the clearest case of total failure as a politician.
