The FBI complied with an order from President Trump’s Justice Department on Tuesday and provided DOJ officials with information about the more than 5,000 employees who worked on investigations related to the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the US Capitol, according to multiple reports. With 13,000 employees total, the FBI had assigned nearly 40 percent of its workforce to the January 6 cases.
