Protect our public lands at all costs
the REAL PROTECT OUR PARKS lol
Imagine an owner of a company completely mismanaging his business, running it deep into debt, and then seizing the personal property of his employees and using it to try and pay off his debt. That’s what the govt is trying to do with this land grab. Every citizen in this country should be crazy pissed about that.
Thank you. I live in West Texas. Basically all our hunters go to New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Colorado to hunt. Texas has almost no public land. I'm a hiker and backpacker. I have to do the same. Texas is an amazing case study for how NOT to do land management. It's pretty much impossible to undo. Selling these lands is definitely not the answer. Keep fighting the fight.
"Well we're not out of the woods yet" You said it brother
State and National Parks are cost prohibitive for many. Public lands are necessary for the regular families to enjoy nature without entrance fees or campground reservations 6-8 months ahead of time. America once was awesome.
In IDAHO we have seen a change in access to formally public land. With the changes made to trespassing laws. Timber companies that made agreements to allow public access have now limited it or shut it off completely to the general public. So when public ground is sold to corporations, wealthy individuals and foreign countries that wilderness becomes off limits to recreation, foraging and hunting even foot travel.
Before the sale of ANY public lands is even on the table for discussion, seize ALL lands owned by ANY foreign concerns, and put that land up for sale. Government needs to get it's ducks in a row regarding land management. BTW, as of January 2025, foreign concerns owned 45.9 million acres of land in the United States. For those wondering, that's over 71,718 square miles. A land area twice the size of Maine.
Thank you Ryan. God bless you for fighting this fight. 🇺🇸
