My Aunt worked at a corner Store in the early 70’s. A Black Man came in, tried to sweet talk her, she refused. Upset, he went outside and waited for her to get off Work. As she Road home on her Moped, he ran her off the Road, dragged her behind a building, Rapped and Murdered her, then dumped her Body in a nearby ditch. They Caught him and at Trial he confessed to the Murder, then stated “She Wanted It”… He was Recently up for Parol, but due to my Aunt’s (Her Sisters) Testimony and his lack of remorse, it was Denied. Last month my Aunt Passed, spending her Life holding her Sisters Killer Accountable… Hopefully he dies in Prison before he gets the opportunity to be Released.
I started questioning things when my black boss started telling me that things were just as bad now for black people as they were in the 60s. Well, I guess the 60s werent that bad then.
Oprah made a career out of lying about this case. Oprah lied about a lot of things but she was really dedicated to lying about this story.
The truth is, we are getting all our knowledge of lynching from Hollywood movies. People are letting Hollywood be their teachers of history
they want to make the word lynch synonymous with killing black people
The news media should be abolished for all the propaganda they spew out.
Just remember, these are the people who still pretend that "Roots" was historically accurate ... even after Haley admitted that it was victimhood mythology to fuel white guilt.
I heard all my life that horse thieves and cattle rustling were a hanging offense.
In grade school we were taught that Emmet Till had whistled at a white woman, nothing else. This was in 1967. Never considered whether it was true or not, this was school after all.
