If only Hawaii was in Ukraine, they would already have received all the help they are asking for.
Funny how most the locals are saying they were “attacked” This was domestic terrorism against citizens. 💯
Apparently, Maui had a summit earlier this year to make the entire island into a smart city. The area they needed the most was a historic site that conveniently got destroyed during the fire.
When I lived in Lahaina in the 1980s West Maui had lots of sugarcane fields. The fields were burned before harvesting and smoke and ash from those fires would fall on Lahaina. Those fires were large covering hundreds of acres and burned for days but NEVER got out of control. West Maui is ALWAYS windy with the trades. Something is definitely off here.

If only the largest military in the world was stationed there to assist.

"Last January, there was a Smart City Conference in Maui to turn it into a complete 15-minute smart city island. A contract was signed last year to build high-rise condos and businesses in Lahaina which was a historical town that couldn’t have any new development done to it… but now It can. An executive order was signed in July stating they could take your land if you needed to be relocated."
I live on a developing country in the Caribbean. We have faced hurricanes, earthquakes, floods and other disasters but my God I have never seen anything like this happen in my country and the lack of response. The politicians of the US should be ashamed of themselves for the lack of compassion for human life. Truly disgusting on every level.
What is also strange is how all these cars and buildings and roads melted, but most of the trees were still standing. And, how lucky were all the celebrities whose properties were untouched.
