It’s Good To FIRE The People Who Support The Shooter
Consequences for Celebrating Political Violence and Defending Societal Order
Directly address the public celebration of political violence by institutional figures and establish why immediate, firm societal consequences are the only prerequisite for preserving a free exchange of ideas.
Short Summary
- The President of the Oxford Union publicly celebrated the shooting of Charlie Kirk, explicitly supporting violent retaliation.
- This event exposes that ideological opponents often want conservatives dead, not just politically opposed.
- The speaker argues that maintaining an open marketplace of ideas is impossible while violence is tolerated or cheered.
- Concrete action, including ostracism and job loss for advocates of violence, is presented as an existential necessity to reassert order.
This segment analyzes the jarring endorsement of political violence by a figure in the "technically elite" Oxford Union. It connects this specific event to a broader realization that political disagreement has become a matter of life and death for conservatives. The core argument pivots on the principle that liberty requires order, meaning those who undermine the rules of engagement through threats of murder must face swift, non-negotiable consequences to save the country and the possibility of future debate.

So, in the UK you get jailed for a tweet commenting about illegal immigration, but the president of the Oxford Union can openly call for violence against conservatives and he’s celebrated. Do you get it yet?
I saw a quote "if you believe that people deserve to die for their opinions, don't cry when you're fired for yours" and i couldn't agree more
My own cousin is about to lose her teacher job for something nasty she posted about Charlie Kirks killing, and I fully support her firing. Wrong is wrong.
And then they say “Well why are you celebrating someone getting fired” like they don’t celebrate a dad getting shot and killed
The Oxford Union clown had to read from his notes. Charlie never needed notes. He spoke the truth and from his heart. RIP Charlie.
Keeping an employee on staff who has publicly announced that violence is a acceptable form of conflict resolution is a legal liability to any company or corporation.
I saw when Charlie debated that Oxford Union guy. Charlie completely dismantled every argument the guy had. Politely, I might add.
Let me get this straight. The group that says it's good to SHOOT people for their views, is mad that they're getting FIRED for their views.
So the same people that burnt down our cities in name of a criminal are also now supporting violence where a father was murdered…surprise.
An employee who celebrates murder is a threat to any business, and must be fired immediately.
