Let's keep it real. American society has fundamentally changed. We were once united in our pursuit for freedom and equality and a tolerance of people who defied the system. Now, they talk a good game, speak elequently about how intelligent they think they are and how peaceful and loving they are towards the fellow man and how much they want to unite us all, to peacefully defeat the common enemy aka oligarchs. But have you tried uniting with them? They abandoned us long ago, over petty politics or human error. They are intolerant, unforgiving and very petty. They are not interested in helping anyone who genuinely needs it. It's a burden and inconvenience. They accuse the disadvantaged of laziness and treat them with contempt. And you're expected to accept this mistreatment with a happy smile. Don't get upset or fight back against the mistreatment, or you become the bad person. This is my country today. I'm sorry to say. Until this changes, Americans are incapable of problem solving. If they can't help their fellow countrymen and women, they are incapable of helpng anyone else. America, at the crossroads.
