Jeffries was triumphant about almost unanimously passing the clean water bill that shot through the senate too—but when Trump vetoed it, Republican support disappeared. WHY WOULDN’T THEY OVERRIDE HIS VETO?? NO shouting about this betrayal. So all these Republicans could say “we voted for it but it was vetoed boohoo”. And hope their constituents don’t understand that the veto isn’t final. Even if they get the ACA extension thru Senate, Trump will veto it and all GOP spines will dissolve.
