Dev here... These systems are not good enough to replace entire teams but you do not need 200 devs on a single project like this its crazy.

200 devs on 1 project is like watching 19 construction workers sharing 1 shovel trying to patch a hole.

Henry Ford is credited with creating the American middle class. Ford knew if he wanted to sell his cars, people would need jobs and enough money to buy those cars.

Couple things there. They aren't targeting people for replacement because they're vocal, they're vocal because they were already targeted for replacement. Second, human resources ALWAYS protects the company, that's literally their job. The idea that HR is a department, hired by and paid for by the company to help you AGAINST them is... silly talk.

Seems rather fitting that the people who've been making machines to replace us are the first to be replaced.
