Special Report: Rob Reiner and his wife found dead in their L.A. home

Really, showing a fight scene from The Princess Bride that involves slashing and stabbing while reporting the stabbing deaths of Reiner and his wife has to be a new low in reporting.

This is a hard one to accept, Heartbreaking...😔🙏

This is so incredibly sad. I was born in 67 so I grew up with him almost my entire life. I remember my parents watching ALL IN THE FAMILY when I was a little girl then growing up with all his wonderful movies. This is a really sad one & the abuse he took on X is beyond belief. I went there to leave my condolences but it was so vile I didn’t do it. Shame on those people. Just because someone doesn’t agree with you politically doesn’t mean you can treat them with such malice. Just terrible. RIP ROB REINER.

Rob and Carl Reiner were brilliant at their craft. They brought much happiness to the world. May the Reiners rest in peace.🙏🏼

This man has been around since I was a kid. He was so talented, funny, he was not afraid to be outspoken. So sad.❤

Just devastating news. It seems we're surrounded by violence and conflict. I'm so sad that an incredible talent who brought the world many human, funny, wonderful iconic performances has been wiped out in such a violent way. Praying for him; praying for us!

My entire family watched All in the Family every single week. And we loved the role Rob Reiner played. Meathead. Then Rob became a director and producer. His movies were what people wanted to see. What an amazing man. His father, Carl, was awesome too. Rob will be greatly missed. So will his wife, Michelle. Rest peacefully, you two! 🙏🏼❤️😞
