Messing with mail is a federal crime
I've had the same mail guy for 22 years. I've worked on his car. The personal relationship makes a huge difference in service. Not everyone has the luxury of living in a small town. But it's stories like this that make me thankful.
Remember the Newman/Seinfeld episode? "When you control the mail, you control INFA-MATION 😂
It sounds like your mail carrier has a personal vendetta against you.
Mail carrier here ! I have co workers like this and the fact they still have a job is mind boggling ! Our union is like no other lol
Just quit USPS this week, survived seven whole months (I’m 49]. It was the most dysfunctional, chaotic, anti-work place I’ve ever encountered, you were actually incentivized not to be productive. All of the employees (and most management) looked (not joking), like a Portland protest. Every morning I’d greet folks with a good morning, how was your weekend…etc, most would just stare back, or ignore you. I brought baked goods and snacks in for Xmas, no thank you, no acknowledgment, proceeded by tearing into it liked dogs. It was a penal colony. The energy was soul crushing
My Grandparents owned a business and Jerry the mailman was the most kind and friendly person. He eventually started coming to the family reunions and get togethers. He came to my Uncles Ted's Funeral. He was like part of the family. Those were the good old days when people acted like real people and treated others with common courtesy.
You go to any post office building and they’re mad at you for walking through the door. The worst attitudes, completely careless and awful at their jobs.
Jim, check your fucking mail 💌
The alcohol abuse at post offices is well documented. Nasty, miserable creatures.
