In this segment Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger dismantle the pro-Trump spin machine trying to frame his disastrous Iran war as a victory, with figures like Dave Rubin, Randy Fine, and "The Quartering" celebrating the ceasefire and claiming Iran "caved" because the Strait of Hormuz is reopening—even though the Strait was open prior to the war and the U.S. has not gained any of its stated strategic goals for the conflict. Jimmy notes that Iran still controls the strait, U.S. bases are destroyed, and the only thing Trump "won" was the ability to claim he's negotiating based on Iran’s “workable” 10-point plan while his own press secretary claims he literally threw that plan in the trash.
