I am lying in bed, with a case of covid, feeling rotten. I'm very grateful to be able to listen to 2 of my favourite people, for free. What a time to be alive
I want to hear from Tim Rural.
I highly recommend Tim's book, get it here: https://waitbutwhy.com/whatsourproblem Here are timestamps. I had cancer and underwent six months of chemo at 22-23. The years after I was so deeply thankful for the little things and the beauty of life. I’m 30 now and though I am a positive and grateful person, it’s very hard to maintain that same intensity of gratitude every day. Love hearing positive conversations like this. Brings it all back.
I’ve felt the most gratitude at my lowest tbh. People tend to get more real in a crisis. And in that state even the smallest act of kindness is such a gift.
Me: "I gotta go to sleep, I have to get up early tomorrow." Lex: *Posts a 3 hour interview with Tim Urban* Me: "Well I guess I'm not going to sleep then."
Goddann. As a moderm Russian citizen, this conversation hits differently on so many levels. Thanks for the upload.
This was a good one Lex. Good job Tim and Lex for giving us a great convo to check out.
I really like the concept of having one agreement vote and one argument quality vote, I've seen some forums doing that
One of the fundamental reasons people are enjoying this is due to two educated people willing to listen to all sides and understanding all sides and then give their opinion in a empathetic way. Bravo Zulu to all
